We drove down to Nanny’s house (James’ mom’s) for Thanksgiving. She lives outside of San Antonio, about 5 hours away. The kids were pretty good on the drive, it’s getting easier now that they are older. We had lots of fun exploring the hillside and walking down to the river and of course eating yummy food! 
We also went to Dickens on the Square in town. It was a fun night for all!
